    This is a season of awakening and invigoration as we emerge from a cold winter and watch everything come back to life. It’s time to get up and go enjoy all that Columbia has to offer during the springtime! One of the best methods to nurture your mind is to dedicate time to activities that bring you joy; what better time than spring to take a step out of your comfort zone and explore your passions?     Thanks to warm temperatures and sunny days, springtime in Columbia is ideal for getting out and exploring the myriad of outdoor spaces at our fingertips! With various state and national parks, an expansive lake, three rivers flowing through our city, and so much more, there’s truly a place for every adventurer. Need an idea for your next adventure? Hit one of the many trails or greenways around town for your next walk, run, or bike ride. Bring the family to Riverbanks Zoo for a mini safari of your own. And as the weather continues to warm up, drop your kayak, paddleboard, or tube in the river to venture down the water.
