Get ready to indulge your senses at the Columbia Food and Wine Festival from Tuesday, April 22, to Sunday, April 26! Whether you’re an avid foodie, a passionate wine enthusiast, or simply someone who enjoys good company and incredible flavors, this event promises an experience you won’t want to miss. Featuring a range of delicious tastings, workshops, and unique events, the Columbia Food & Wine Festival invites you to savor the best that Columbia has to offer.

“The Columbia Food & Wine Festival is about showcasing the incredible culinary talent and creativity in our region, while creating opportunities to connect over a shared passion for food and drinks,” says Chase Heatherly, festival co-founder and chief revenue officer of The Post and Courier and Evening Post Publishing. From inventive takes on Southern classics to contemporary dishes that push the boundaries of flavor, there’s something for every palate.

At the heart of this festival is the opportunity to celebrate the local food scene and explore the rich culinary tapestry of Columbia. What was once a singular tasting event has since expanded into a five-day festival attracting thousands of guests from across the Midlands and beyond. The Columbia Food & Wine Festival provides opportunities for everyone to expand your palate and discover a symphony of tastes that turn up the flavor in our city. Discover new wine and cheese pairings to love, new restaurants to call local favorites, and grow a deeper appreciation for the culinary artists right here in our city.

The festival features a wide range of events designed to appeal to all tastes and interests. It all begins with a Kickoff Dinner at West Columbia’s Black Rooster, featuring the culinary creations of local chefs and a special guest, 2025 James Beard Award semifinalist Chef Paul Reilly. Every day for the rest of the week, you can find opportunities for delicious dinners, fascinating storytelling, and opportunities to learn more about the wonders of food and wine.

“Ping Pong & Pasta” on April 26 offers a fun and interactive way to enjoy delicious pasta dishes while engaging in a little friendly competition. Meanwhile, the “Soul of the South, A Gullah Experience” event on April 25 highlights the deep-rooted Southern flavors and culinary traditions that define our region, offering guests the chance to experience soulful dishes passed down through generations. For those seeking a more intimate, high-end experience, the Collaborative Kitchen dinners bring together top chefs for one-of-a-kind multi-course meals designed to tantalize the taste buds and leave a lasting impression.

Trust us, the festival will have a little something for everyone as we explore more of our city’s culinary landscape. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to experience Columbia’s culinary scene like never before. It’s the perfect occasion to indulge in flavor, fun, and community! Mark your calendars and get ready for an experience that will leave you craving more.
