At the heart of this festival is the opportunity to celebrate the local food scene and explore the rich culinary tapestry of Columbia. What was once a singular tasting event has since expanded into a five-day festival attracting thousands of guests from across the Midlands and beyond. It all begins with a Kickoff Dinner at West Columbia’s Black Rooster, featuring the culinary creations of local chefs and a special guest, 2025 James Beard Award semifinalist Chef Paul Reilly. “Ping Pong & Pasta” on April 26 offers a fun and interactive way to enjoy delicious pasta dishes while engaging in a little friendly competition. Meanwhile, the “Soul of the South, A Gullah Experience” event on April 25 highlights the deep-rooted Southern flavors and culinary traditions that define our region, offering guests the chance to experience soulful dishes passed down through generations. For those seeking a more intimate, high-end experience, the Collaborative Kitchen dinners bring together top chefs for one-of-a-kind multi-course meals designed to tantalize the taste buds and leave a lasting impression.
